How to pair Bluetooth?

Press and hold the music note button for three seconds. You'll see the bluetooth logo on the left hand side of the LCD panel light up.

How to disable / enable Bluetooth and WIFI?

Press and hold the music note button for 10 seconds.

How do I lock the control panel?

Press and hold the car ride motion icon for 5 seconds. The lock indicator will illuminate blue, and the motion icon will flash when screen is locked.

What does the lock icon on the control panel indicate?

The lock icon indicates the control panel locking feature of the MamaRoo. If you would like to lock the control panel, press and hold the car ride motion icon for 5 seconds. The lock indicator will illuminate blue, and the motion icon will flash when screen is locked.

How do I perform a factory reset?

Unplug the unit from the wall outlet
Wait 10-15 seconds and then plug the unit back in
Within the first 3 seconds, touch and release the Car Ride icon once. Do Not press and hold the button and DO NOT turn on power first.
After touching and releasing the Car Ride icon, the Power light will blink green 2-3 times.
Once the Power light stops blinking, the unit is factory set.
Touch the Power button to begin using.

How do I return the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing™ to the "home" position?

Press and hold the Volume Control Icon for 3-5 seconds. The MamaRoo will then move to return itself to its home position.

The power supply for the mamaRoo will work between 100 and 240 VAC (or between 50 and 60 Hz).

What are the names of the built-in sounds?

How do I increase the speed of my MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing™?

Tap any of the motion icon once to start. Tap again to increase speed.

Why does the control panel go dark while the swing is still moving?

After 90 seconds the control panel will go dark. Tap any icon except the power button to wake screen.

Can I set a timer for the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing™?

Yes. You can set a timer via the 4moms APP.

Is the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing™ approved for overnight sleeping?

No. Since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface, as recommended by pediatricians, it is not safe for any type of sleep. If your baby falls asleep while in the MamaRoo Swing, we recommend moving them to a firm, flat sleeping surface like a bassinet, playard or crib.

Can I use the Babocush and MamaRoo® 5 Multi-Motion Baby Swing together?

No. The MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing™ has not been safety tested for use with the Babocush, and we do not recommend the Babocush or any other third party brand of attachment or accessory be used with the mamaRoo.

How long can my baby stay in the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing throughout the day?

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends babies shouldn't be in a swing more than 30 minutes at a time. If your baby falls asleep in the mamaRoo infant seat we recommend moving the baby to a separate approved sleep surface, such as a crib, playard or bassinet.

Because the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface as recommended by the AAP, the MamaRoo® 5 Multi-Motion Baby Swing is not an approved sleep surface.

Is the newborn insert required for use with the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing?

No. The newborn insert is not required for use; however, you may choose to use it because it does provide extra support for the baby. The newborn insert is designed to give babies the swaddling feeling that some newborns prefer.

Is there an age or size limit for the newborn insert?

No. The newborn insert can be used from birth until the baby no longer prefers it.

Do I have to register my MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing?

No, but it is recommended that you register it. 4moms does extensive testing above and beyond that required by law. However, if through some unforeseen circumstance we need to issue a recall we ask that you please register your product. We have three easy ways for you to register: fill out the enclosed registration card and mail it back, register using the 4moms App or register online by clicking here.
